Information you provide directly

The site does not require an account, profile, saved vehicle/equipment record or checkout account. If you email Log Splitter Match, the message, email address and any information you choose to include are processed so the request can be read and answered.

Do not send passwords, payment-card information, government identifiers, medical information or other sensitive personal information.

Inputs used in calculators or selection tools

Where a Log Splitter Match tool accepts values such as wood type, log dimensions, workload, voltage, hydraulic flow or preferences, the site is designed to use those inputs to calculate or display the requested result rather than create a personal user profile. The site does not operate a user-account database for storing those inputs.

Technical event information can still be processed by analytics, hosting or security services as described below. Do not enter personal or confidential information into a field that only requires an equipment or wood value.

Google Analytics configuration

The site includes Google Analytics using a privacy-oriented configuration. Analytics storage is denied by default. The site may update analytics consent after a user interaction such as a click, key press, scroll or touch. The current configuration disables Google signals and ad-personalization signals, uses IP anonymization settings, and sets Google Analytics client storage to none.

Google and the visitor's browser/network environment may still process technical request or event information as part of delivering the analytics service. Log Splitter Match does not claim that loading a third-party analytics script means no information ever reaches that provider.

Engagement and commercial-link events

The site's analytics code may record an affiliate_click event when a visitor follows a /go/ commercial link. The event is designed to include the commercial route slug, partner/category metadata and link text so the site can understand which shopping paths are useful.

That event is not intended to transmit the visitor's wood measurements, payment information or a user account identity to Log Splitter Match.

Hosting, security and server logs

Cloudflare and related hosting infrastructure may process standard technical information needed to deliver and secure the site, such as IP address, user agent, requested URL, request timing, network data and security signals. Those services operate under their own terms and privacy practices.

Log Splitter Match does not run its own advertising-profile or membership database.

Cookies and local storage

Log Splitter Match does not intentionally require a first-party account cookie to use the public site. The Google Analytics configuration described above uses client_storage: 'none'. Third-party destinations reached through external links may use cookies, local storage or other technologies according to their own policies.

Outbound merchant and affiliate links

When you follow an external manufacturer, retailer, marketplace or affiliate link, the destination may receive ordinary referral/request information and may process data under its own privacy policy. Affiliate networks or merchants may provide Log Splitter Match with aggregated reporting or transaction-attribution information when a qualifying action occurs.

Purchases, payment details, shipping addresses and merchant-account information are handled by the destination merchant, not by Log Splitter Match.

Third-party websites

Links to manufacturers, manuals, retailers, Amazon and other external resources leave LogSplitterMatch.com. This privacy policy does not govern those third-party sites. Review the destination's privacy policy and choices before providing personal information.

Children's privacy

Log Splitter Match is an equipment research site intended for a general audience and is not directed to children. The site does not knowingly operate accounts or services designed to collect personal information from children.

Retention and deletion requests

Email correspondence may be retained as reasonably needed to respond, document a specification correction, prevent abuse or maintain a record of the issue. Hosting, analytics and affiliate providers may retain information according to their own policies and configured retention periods.
